What is Pick 6?
Pick 6 is free college fantasy football made simple: you draft five teams, not players, one per conference, in a live snake draft with friends, and score all season on wins and upsets. It runs in a web browser at pick6cfb.com, so there is nothing to install.
Is Pick 6 free?
Yes. Making an account, starting a league, drafting and playing the whole season cost nothing. There are two optional paid extras: an AI video message to your league, and the naming rights to a bowl. Neither one changes the game.
Is this DraftKings Pick6?
No. Pick 6 at pick6cfb.com is an independent game and is not affiliated with DraftKings or its Pick6 contests. There are no entry fees and no cash prizes here, and nothing is wagered. You draft college football teams with friends and play for the leaderboard. Point spreads are only used to decide which wins count as upsets.
How is Pick 6 different from regular fantasy football?
It is fantasy football where the players are whole teams. You draft five college teams instead of a roster of individual players, so there is no lineup to set and no waiver wire, and each team scores every time it plays. After the draft, the only roster decision left is one swap before week 6.
How is it different from a weekly pick'em?
A weekly pick'em asks for new picks every week. In Pick 6 you pick once, at the draft, and nobody else in your league can have your teams. Upsets matter more than favorites: an underdog win is worth double, and a big favorite that loses costs you a point.
How many people can play in a league?
4 to 16. Every league is private: people join with the code or link the commissioner shares. You can play in more than one league.
How does the draft work?
It is a live snake draft with a pick clock, five rounds long. The commissioner schedules it and sets the order, or leaves the order random. Each player takes one team from each slot: SEC, Big Ten, ACC plus Notre Dame, Big 12, and the Group of 6. If your clock runs out, autopick takes the top team in your queue, then the best team left by AP ranking.
How does scoring work?
Each of your teams scores once per game: +1 for a win, +2 for a win as an underdog of 3.5 points or more, 0 for a loss, and −1 for a loss as a favorite of 3.5 or more. The four results do not stack, and a game with no posted line scores as a plain win or loss.
What is the Group of 6 slot?
One team from the American, Conference USA, the MAC, the Mountain West, the Sun Belt or the rebuilt Pac-12. It is the one slot that covers six conferences, so it has the most teams to choose from.
Can I change my teams during the season?
Once. During week 5 you rank the swaps you would take, each one a team of yours for an unowned team in the same slot. When week 6 starts every league's swaps run at once, worst record first. Points already scored stay as they were.
Do bowl games and the College Football Playoff count?
Not toward the leaderboard. The 2026 season is weeks 1 to 13, ending with rivalry weekend on Saturday, November 28. The final week doubles as Bowl Season: a head-to-head game against the player next to you in the standings, for bragging rights. After the season everyone fills out a Playoff bracket, and the results set next season's draft order.
What do I need to play?
A phone or a computer with a web browser, and an email address. Scores, point spreads and standings update on their own.
Where do the scores and point spreads come from?
Scores and schedules come from ESPN. Favorites and underdogs come from the pre-game point spread posted by sportsbooks, and a game's line is locked when it kicks off.
